Promissory note

This is a promissory note for a real post.

Soon.

Really.

Until then, entertain yourself however you wish, as I hope you will anyway.

Must sleep.....

Blue Skies

The sun is shining through trees full of leaves. A fitful breeze plays with my hair. I feel the sweat drip down my face to my chest. As the brush sweeps against the sides and bottom of the pool, I enjoy the sensation of my muscles flexing and the sunshine on my skin. The water will be lovely once I've finished the pool chores and can go swimming.

Its just a normal day, not too late in the year. And I'm enjoying the blue skies.

Rejoice in the Little Things

Purring cats curled up against your feet
Smiles from one you love, that you never expected to see again
Chocolate melting on the tongue
The crunch of lettuce contrasting with the creamy dressing
Silken warm water on the feet, but bracingly cool when you dive in
Weight of the sun on skin contrasting with the gentle brush of the wind
Feeling up to your life
Happy conversations and laughter
Monkey bread
Sharing a passion with someone who appreciates it as well

Mumblety Grumblety

The joys of the electronic era include slamming a door on the phone wire and not having internet for a LONG time. Of course, after the wire gets fixed and everything, I find out that the internet problem is at the junction box miles away, and may have nothing to do with the said smashed wire. But, all is fixed and all is now good. Regularly scheduled posts will be resumed tomorrow. :)
